10-Minute Apple Carrot Oatmeal

A quick and nutritious breakfast combining oats, sweet apples, and crunchy carrots.

  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 medium apple (diced)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine rolled oats, grated carrot, diced apple, milk, water, maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a medium saucepan.
  2. Stir the mixture well and heat over medium heat until it begins to bubble.
  3. Reduce the heat slightly and cook for about 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Serve warm once the oatmeal has thickened to your liking.
  5. Optional: Add toppings like peanut butter, nuts, or fresh fruit for extra flavor and nutrition.

Notes

Use freshly grated carrots for better flavor and texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
