Instructions

  1. Make the wells: Use a sturdy glass to gently press down in the center of each bread slice, creating a well for your egg.
  2. Butter the bread: Spread a generous layer of salted butter on both slices, allowing the flavor to soak in.
  3. Prepare the air fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer rack with oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Crack the eggs: Crack each egg into a small dish, ensuring no shells make their way into the mix.
  5. Fill the indentations: Carefully pour an egg into the well you created in each slice of bread, watching for spills.
  6. Season: Sprinkle kosher salt and black pepper over the eggs to enhance their flavor.
