Avocado Bacon and Egg Toasts

A delightful combination of crispy bacon, creamy mashed avocado, and perfectly fried eggs on toasted artisan bread, finished with a drizzle of hot honey.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of artisan bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of crispy bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • Hot honey (to drizzle)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Toast the artisan bread until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy and drain on paper towels.
  3. Using the same skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.
  4. Mash the avocado in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread a generous layer of mashed avocado onto each slice of toasted bread.
  6. Top each slice with a piece of crispy bacon and a fried egg.
  7. Drizzle with hot honey and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, try smoked paprika on the avocado. Best enjoyed fresh, but elements can be prepped ahead.
