Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants

Delightful flaky pastries filled with savory ham and melted cheese, perfect for brunch or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 4 flaky croissants
  • 8 slices of sliced ham
  • 8 slices of sliced cheese (e.g., Swiss or cheddar)
  • Butter (optional)
  • Mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  3. Layer slices of ham and cheese inside each croissant.
  4. If desired, spread a thin layer of butter and a bit of mustard on the outside of the croissants.
  5. Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and the croissants are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For variations, try using different cheeses or adding sautéed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
