Simple Banana Bread

A delightful and easy banana bread recipe, perfect for using up overripe bananas and ideal for snacks or breakfast.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the flour until no dry bits remain.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!

For extra sweetness, consider adding nuts, chocolate chips, or using brown sugar instead of regular sugar.
