Banana Oatmeal Bars

A nutritious and delicious snack, these Banana Oatmeal Bars are packed with wholesome ingredients, perfect for breakfast on the go or a post-workout treat.

  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and flatten it into an even layer.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until the edges turn golden and the center feels set.
  5. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for maximum sweetness and don’t overmix to maintain a chewy texture.
