A hearty breakfast casserole combining soft, buttery biscuits, savory sausage, creamy eggs, and gooey cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings or quick dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet gravy mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until it’s browned and crumbled; drain any excess fat.
  3. Chop the refrigerated biscuits into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Combine the eggs, milk, and prepared gravy in a large bowl, whisking until mixed well.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the biscuit pieces across the bottom evenly, then layer the cooked sausage on top.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuit and sausage layers, making sure everything is well-coated.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the casserole is set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Leftover casserole can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. It can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
