Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza

A delightful and comforting breakfast pizza topped with hearty sausage gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, and Cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (for eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (or more, as desired)
  • Crispy fried onions for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess grease.
  2. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir well to coat evenly.
  3. Gradually pour in the 2 cups of milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens (about 10 minutes). Add black pepper to taste.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the pre-baked pizza crust on a baking sheet. Brush it with olive oil if desired.
  6. Spread half of the prepared sausage gravy over the pizza crust.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1/4 cup milk.
  8. Heat a skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Pour in the egg mixture and scramble until just set (about 5 minutes).
  9. Spread the scrambled eggs over the gravy on the pizza.
  10. Top everything with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  12. Finally, sprinkle crispy fried onions on top. Slice, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to substitute turkey sausage for a lighter option and experiment with different cheeses for variety.
