Blueberry Cream Cheese Croissant Casserole

A delightful casserole combining buttery croissants, creamy cheese, and juicy blueberries, perfect for brunch or cozy family dinners.

  • 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter, for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Generously grease your baking dish with butter.
  3. Spread the torn croissant pieces evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, making sure to soak them thoroughly.
  6. Dot spoonfuls of softened cream cheese evenly across the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the blueberries over the top of everything.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and set in the middle.
  9. Serve warm, optionally drizzling with blueberry sauce.
