Breakfast Bagel Sandwich

A delicious and satisfying Breakfast Bagel Sandwich featuring toasted bagels, cheesy eggs, and crispy bacon or sausage, perfect for quick meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 slice of cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 2 slices of bacon or 1 sausage patty
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Slice your bagel in half and toast it until it reaches your desired level of crispiness.
  2. Cook the bacon or sausage in a frying pan until it’s browned and fully cooked.
  3. Remove the meat from the pan. Add a small amount of butter to the same pan and let it melt.
  4. Crack the eggs into the pan. You can cook them sunny-side up or scramble them, seasoning with salt and pepper to your taste.
  5. Place the slice of cheese on top of the eggs just before they finish cooking. Cover the pan briefly to allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by layering the cooked meat and cheesy eggs on one half of the bagel, then topping with the other half.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Wrap leftovers in foil or store in an airtight container in the fridge. Best consumed within 2-3 days.
