Breakfast Biscuit Casserole

A delicious and comforting breakfast casserole made with flaky biscuit pieces, savory sausage, and rich cheese.

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Open the can of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a large bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuit pieces, ensuring that they are well covered.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled sausage and shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Allow the dish to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Grease your baking dish well to prevent sticking. For extra flavor, add spices like smoked paprika or garlic powder to the egg mixture.
