Breakfast Casserole

A warm and comforting breakfast casserole that combines sausage, eggs, and cheese for a satisfying morning meal.

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  4. Spread the crescent rolls evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
  5. Distribute the cooked sausage evenly over the crescent rolls.
  6. Pour the beaten eggs over the sausage layer.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the mild sausage for a spicy variety, or try different types of cheese like pepper jack for a little kick. For freshness, consider adding sautéed vegetables or herbs.
