  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
  2. Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Assemble the Roll-Ups: Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin. Spread melted butter on top, sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar mix, and roll tightly from one end to the other.
  4. Cook the Roll-Ups: Dip each roll in the egg mixture, ensuring they are well-coated. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the roll-ups on all sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve: Remove any toothpicks used to hold the roll-ups together. Enjoy immediately while warm and delicious!

Notes

These roll-ups can be enhanced with maple syrup, fresh strawberries, or blueberries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
