Crack Breakfast Casserole

A delightful dish combining crispy bacon, creamy eggs, and cheesy goodness layered atop hash browns, perfect for any occasion.

  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups hash browns (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop it into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grease a baking dish and spread the hash browns evenly across the bottom.
  5. Distribute the chopped bacon over the hash browns, then sprinkle your chosen cheese on top.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing. If desired, garnish with green onions.
