Crack Breakfast Casserole

A warm, cheesy breakfast casserole filled with crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and golden-brown hash browns, perfect for any family gathering.

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups hash browns (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Once done, let it cool and crumbled into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer in the hash browns evenly, followed by the crumbled bacon, and top off with the shredded cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layers, ensuring everything is well coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Feel free to use different types of cheese or turkey bacon for a lighter option. Add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
