Creamy Marry Me Chicken Ramen

A delightful twist on traditional ramen featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich, creamy broth, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups ramen noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sear the chicken: In a large pot, heat a splash of oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Once done, set them aside.
  2. Sauté aromatics: In the same pot, introduce the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Build the broth: Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce. Mix well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Cook the noodles: Add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions until tender.
  5. Stir in cream: Lower the heat and gently stir in the heavy cream. Return the chicken to the pot to warm through.
  6. Season: Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap chicken for tofu and use low-sodium broth. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
