Creamy Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

A warm and delightful bowl of creamy oatmeal topped with ripe banana and juicy blueberries, perfect for a nutritious breakfast.

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk or water
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • Sweetener to taste (honey, maple syrup, etc.)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings (nuts, seeds, yogurt)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, milk (or water), and a pinch of salt.
  2. Raise the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and allow it to simmer.
  4. Stir occasionally, cooking for about 5-10 minutes until the oats are creamy and fully cooked.
  5. Remove from heat and sweeten your oatmeal to taste with honey or maple syrup.
  6. Pour the creamy oatmeal into bowls.
  7. Top generously with banana slices and blueberries. Optionally add nuts, seeds, or a dollop of yogurt.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute milk with almond or coconut milk. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
