Delightful crispy breakfast potatoes made quickly in an air fryer, perfect for brunch or a quick meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large potatoes (about 500 g), peeled or unpeeled
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the potatoes into small, even cubes.
  2. Toss the cubed potatoes in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and dried herbs if using.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (about 390°F).
  4. Place the seasoned potato cubes into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer for even cooking.
  5. Cook for about 15 minutes, giving the basket a shake halfway through.
  6. Continue cooking until the potatoes turn golden brown and crisp. Serve them hot!

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak cubed potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Consider adding bell peppers or onions for more flavor.
