  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned and crumbly.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and add the recommended amount of liquid according to packet instructions.
  4. Allow the mixture to simmer and heat through.
  5. Prepare taco shells according to package instructions.
  6. Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and any additional toppings.
  8. Serve immediately with sour cream and hot sauce on the side if desired.
