A hearty and comforting Full English Breakfast featuring crispy sausages, fried eggs, and baked beans, perfect for a weekend feast.

  • 4 slices Bread
  • 1 cup Baked Beans (Canned or Homemade)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 4 links Chicken Sausages
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 8 whole Mushrooms
  • 4 large Eggs
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 Spring onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baked beans: Heat canned baked beans according to package instructions, or spice up your homemade version with a sprinkle of paprika or a dash of Worcestershire sauce for added depth.
  2. Toast the bread: Slice your bread and lightly butter both sides. Toast it until it’s perfectly crispy and golden, then set aside.
  3. Cook the sausages, tomatoes, and mushrooms: In a large frying pan over medium to low heat, add oil. Then toss in the chicken sausages, halved tomatoes, and whole mushrooms. Sauté them, turning regularly until they’re beautifully seared.
  4. Fry the eggs: Using the same pan, add butter to the fragrant juices left behind. Crack in the eggs, seasoning them with salt and black pepper. Cook them sunny side up or scramble them, according to your taste.
  5. Plate your breakfast: Arrange the juicy chicken sausages, fried eggs, grilled mushrooms, tomato halves, toast, and baked beans on a plate. Top it off with a sprinkle of fresh spring onions for a pop of color and flavor.

Notes

Use medium heat to cook the sausages for best results. Add milk or cream for creamier scrambled eggs.
