Greek Yogurt Bagels

These Greek Yogurt Bagels are quick and simple to make, requiring just two ingredients for delicious, warm bagels perfect for brunch or snacks.

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour in a large bowl and mix until a dough begins to form.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead gently until it’s smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece to shape it into a bagel.
  5. Place the bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with the egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes until they turn golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Allow them to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

These bagels can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze them.
