A heartwarming blend of warm apples, wholesome oats, and maple syrup, perfect for busy mornings or leisurely brunches.

  • 1 ½ cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 large apple, diced
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and blended.
  3. Gradually stir in the oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until fully combined.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples and walnuts or pecans, ensuring everything is evenly mixed.
  5. Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and the center is set.
