Quark Coins with Oats

Delightful fried treats that combine creamy quark with wholesome oats, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 250g Quark
  • 100g oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50g flour
  • Baking powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the Quark, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and unified.
  2. Add the oats, flour, and baking powder to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Scoop out portions of the dough and shape them into small coins.
  4. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the coins for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve them warm on a plate and enjoy your delicious creation!

Notes

Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
