Quark Coins with Oats

Delicious and fluffy Quark Coins with Oats, perfect for breakfast or a light snack.

Ingredients

  • 250g Quark
  • 100g oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the Quark, oats, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
  3. Scoop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot pan. Use the back of the spoon to gently flatten each mound.
  4. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side until they’re beautifully golden brown.
  5. Once cooked, remove them from the pan and let them cool slightly. Serve them warm for that perfect fluffy texture.

Notes

Serve drizzled with honey or maple syrup, or alongside fresh fruits. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
