Quick Banana Bread in Your Bread Machine

A simple and rewarding banana bread recipe that uses overripe bananas and a bread machine for convenience.

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Add the mashed bananas and melted butter into the bread machine pan.
  2. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the bananas.
  3. Mix in the sugar, followed by the beaten egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Spread the flour evenly over the banana mixture.
  5. Set your bread machine to the quick bread setting and press start.
  6. Once baking is finished, allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before removing it from the pan. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute unsweetened applesauce for butter. You can also use a gluten-free flour blend instead of all-purpose flour.
