Salty Sweet Snack Mix

A delightful blend of crunchy pretzels, light popcorn, sweet chocolate candies, and hearty nuts, perfect for movie nights or gatherings.

  • 4 cups of pretzels
  • 2 cups of popcorn
  • 1 cup of chocolate candies
  • 1 cup of nuts (almonds or cashews)
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the pretzels, popcorn, chocolate candies, and nuts in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Mix in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Drizzle the butter mixture over the pretzel mix. Toss everything gently but thoroughly so the coating is evenly distributed.
  5. Spread the mix onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week. If it loses crunch, toast in the oven for a few minutes.
