Deliciously savory muffins combining breakfast sausage and melty cheese, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the milk and eggs until well combined.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just blended.
  6. Carefully fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
  7. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow muffins to cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin and enjoy.
