Savory Breakfast Casserole

A comforting and versatile breakfast dish combining fluffy eggs, melty cheese, and colorful veggies over hearty bread.

  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheese (your choice)
  • 1 cup Spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup Bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 4 slices Bread, cubed
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Herbs (thyme, basil, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in your choice of cheese and chopped vegetables.
  4. Layer bread cubes in a baking dish and pour the egg mixture over them.
  5. Bake until the casserole is bubbly and golden, about 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let it sit for a few minutes before slicing to serve.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add more milk or cream to the egg mixture. You can assemble the casserole the night before for an easy morning.
