3-Ingredient Greek Yogurt Protein Biscuits

Delightful biscuits made with just three ingredients, perfect for breakfast or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1.5 cups non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Stir together the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until you have a shaggy dough.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 4-5 times until it’s nice and smooth.
  4. Pat the dough to about a 1-inch thickness. Cut out 6 biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a round glass.
  5. Arrange the biscuits on your prepared baking sheet so they are just touching, then brush the tops with melted butter.
  6. Place them in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and are well risen.
  7. Let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

These biscuits can be enjoyed warm with butter and honey or used for breakfast sandwiches.
