Brown Sugar Overnight Oats

A delightful, creamy breakfast that’s easy to make and perfect for busy mornings, infused with brown sugar and banana.

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 ripe bananas)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more, to taste)
  • 2 cups milk (or dairy-free milk)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, and mashed bananas.
  2. Add the cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and milk to the bowl.
  3. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best for maximum flavor.
  6. When you’re ready to enjoy, scoop out a portion and add your favorite toppings, like nuts, berries, or yogurt.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. Consider adding toppings just before serving for better texture.
