Cottage Cheese Breakfast Biscuits

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or herbs (optional for flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the cottage cheese, melted butter, egg, and honey (if using) in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder or herbs in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients using a spatula, combining just until the dough comes together.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for the biscuits to spread.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
