2 cups of flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of melted butter
Optional: Chocolate chips or berries
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Mix in the milk, sugar, and melted butter, whisking until everything is combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined; avoid overmixing! If you’re adding chocolate chips or berries, fold them in at this stage.
Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease lightly with butter or oil.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.
Keep the pancakes warm on a plate while cooking the remaining batter.
