Healthy Chocolate Chip Greek Yogurt Muffins

Delightfully fluffy and rich in protein, these guilt-free muffins are perfect for breakfast, snacks, or brunch.

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup neutral oil or melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Mix the Greek yogurt, oil or melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, gently folding until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, saving a few for topping.
  6. Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider swapping out sugar with a natural sweetener or using whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose.
