Instructions

  1. Start by bringing the water or milk to a rolling boil in a pot.
  2. Once boiling, stir in the rolled oats, chopped apple, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Give it a good stir, then reduce the heat to medium-low.
  4. Allow the mixture to cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until your oats reach the desired creaminess.
  5. If you choose to add protein powder, fold it in gently after cooking.
  6. For sweetness, drizzle in honey or maple syrup according to your taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnishing with your favorite nuts or seeds if desired.

Notes
