High-Protein Breakfast Scramble

A quick and delicious breakfast scramble made with turkey bacon, eggs, and colorful veggies for a nutritious start to your day.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 whole egg
  • 3 servings egg whites (about ¾ cup)
  • 1 slice lite cheese
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped bell pepper
  • Chopped spinach
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Pour in the whole egg and egg whites, season with salt and pepper, and scramble until just cooked through.
  4. Fold in the crispy turkey bacon and the slice of lite cheese, mixing until well combined and the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve hot with a drizzle of hot sauce if desired.
