High Protein Cottage Cheese Bagels

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cottage cheese, flour, egg, baking powder, salt, and any optional spices in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix until a dough forms. Gradually add more flour if the mixture is sticky.
  4. Portion the dough and shape each piece into a bagel, ensuring a hole in the center.
  5. Place the bagels on a lined baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
