High-Protein French Toast

A protein-packed and delicious breakfast option perfect for busy mornings or weekend brunches.

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 4 slices whole grain bread
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Maple syrup or fruit for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the egg whites, almond milk, and vanilla protein powder until smooth.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are evenly coated.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  4. Cook the soaked slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown.
  5. Serve warm, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon, a drizzle of maple syrup, or fresh fruit as desired.
