Marry Me Chicken and Ravioli

A creamy, comforting dish combining tender chicken, rich cream, and Parmesan cheese with delicious ravioli, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds, allowing it to become fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts into a creamy sauce.
  4. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Drain them and add to the creamy sauce, tossing gently to coat each piece.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and layer it on top of the ravioli. Garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu. Consider adding Italian herbs for extra flavor.
