Oatmeal Apple Breakfast Bake

A warm and cozy oatmeal bake with baked apples and cinnamon, perfect for busy mornings.

  • 2 cups milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 large apple, diced
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, diced apple, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. If using, fold in the nuts or dried fruit at this stage.
  4. Pour the oatmeal mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is set and beautifully golden.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or store it for quick breakfasts throughout the week.
