A nutritious twist on classic French toast, made with protein powder for a hearty breakfast.

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 slices of whole grain or gluten-free bread
  • Cooking spray or butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the protein powder, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, lightly greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the protein mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  4. Place the coated bread onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the skillet and serve warm or let cool before storing.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, almond milk works splendidly! Feel free to experiment with protein powder flavors.
