Quick and nutritious egg biscuits perfect for breakfast or a wholesome snack, packed with protein and savory goodness.

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup eggs (about 4 large eggs)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or bacon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well mixed.
  3. Beat together the eggs, milk, and olive oil or melted butter in a separate bowl until beautifully blended.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently just until combined.
  5. Fold in the shredded cheese and any optional meat, like crumbled sausage or bacon.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin, and enjoy!

Notes

These biscuits are delicious on their own but can be served with fresh fruit, salsa, or hot sauce. They can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
